Picked up on the word OAKS and had to come and see! Lovely oaks in B/W. The lonley gull image is an awesome click! Spiritual in a way for me.
Oh, wow! Thank you so much! This place is spiritual to me. It is sacred ground. So many people died here during the Civil War. Standing there, beneath the oaks, gazing out over the salt marsh, imagining the battles, causes great reflection within. Thanks for your nice comment!
Awesome black and white!
Thank you so much!
AND thank you so much for “reblogging” my blog – I had to go look that up because I wasn’t familiar with the term. Much appreciated!
Reblogged this on Amazing Fine Art and commented:
beautiful black and white1
These photos are stunning. You really have captured the spirit of the place. One can see why it is sacred ground to you.
Thank you for your kind comment, Cnawan.
You are an amazing photographer…I so enjoy following you on facebook and I love your new blog; I still have GHT on my sidebar but added this too π I have to sign in here using FB because it will not allow me to connect using my Blogger ID…
Hello, Jan! I’m so glad you’ve found me again. I may still revive GHT but in the meantime I love the formatting of WP for photos – they are so much larger! Interesting that the two, Blogger and WP don’t gee-haw, eh?
Debi, what a delightful blog you have..just love all the beauty here..
Sherri
Thank you so much, Sherri. I shall visit your blog right now!
Hi Debi, Thank you so much..how good to know you..
Sherri
And you as well, Sherri. I look forward to reading your blog with my morning coffee!
Debi you are clearly a creative visual artist. Your carefully selected viewpoints and fine compositions make this a special set of images.
You honor me. I was wishing so for sunset light but there we were at high noon! The place itself drew the camera. I was but the clicker…you know?
